So... We dropped off some CD's at a store up the road from where my guitarist lives. The store is called Pass and Stow and it's in Bristol, PA. The guy who owns it has been in countless hardcore bands for the past two decades, and has a lot of connections in the music business in the area. Well... Trustkill Records is based in Tinton Falls, NJ and this guy is personal friends with the General Manager of the record label. Here's a brief excerpt from the E-mail that was sent to the GM of Trustkill Records.

"A band by the name of Triggered Impulse recently dropped off a complete package CD of their album... People drop tons and tons of music all day, and most is garbage, but I gave this one a shot, and think its really promising.

Its completely METAL, and Im really feeling..

Something for Trustkill maybe? "

So, I grew up on Trustkill bands. Poison The Well, Nora, Walls Of Jericho, just to name a few, and NOW I'm staring face to face with the opportunity of being signed to that label myself. I'm really trying not to get my hopes up too high, but at the same time, i can't help it. Just the thought of some other kid in middle school, just beginning to get into metal/hardcore checking out bands signed to labels he likes, coming across the album i poured myself into makes me all giddy and shit. So fingers crossed, this comes through, but at the same time, if it doesn't we're not gonna be discouraged.
