cleveland, i love you.
and you. and you.
i'm in love with the thought of leaving.
and also... to the cute couple with the anti-bush stickers on their car that we mistook for old people that we followed and followed us down the ohio turnpike almost all the way to cleveland, and then coinsciedentially found us at the show and said whats up- whomever you are since we never got your names and never found you when the show ended, where ever you are i love you too.
i secretly loved the long five hour drive
it was an adventure to say the least
buck 65 was fucking killer and the dresden dolls were fucking amazing
between songs it got quiet and gretchen sreamed "take it off", and amanda (from the dresden dolls) said "take what off???" and gretchen screamed take it all offf and shes like ive got nothing to take off im barely wearing anything
she didnt get naked but in the encore they came back on and played my two favorite songs of theirs
and it was pretty sweet
the kids at the show were all super cute
and there were people dressed like dolls and this one particular girl was walking around and staring at anything and everything and she stopped next to gretchen and i and stared us down for about five minutes straight and then held out her hand and gave me a card that said "you are beautiful", and one to gretchen that said "you are beautiful, and inane, and bitter". those kids from the highway came and found us at the show when they spotted us and couldnt believe that we had really just driven all the way from indiana to cleveland and we talked.
after the show the dresden dolls came out and were talking and signing shit and there was a gap in the line and gretchen got right in front of amanda and she saw her and stuck out her tongue for a picture
everything was just great
im in love with the idea of leaving and theres no telling when ill be off for good and im counting down becuase i cant wait to plan my escape
i want to go to new york with gretchen
i may never even get to see new york if i don't make it happen
but of course money comes into play and i have none
i want to road trip to california this summer
and how many times must i tell you i love you before it doesn't mean a thing?
