My mom and I started noticing a few days before my birthday (Jan 24th) that my cat was acting strange and not like her normal playful self. She wasn't running to the door when we came in anymore, she would hide in dark places she normally wouldn't go, she wouldn't purr when we pet her, she wouldn't ever walk around the house anymore.. just sit there. We noticed that she wasn't eating or going to the bathroom at all. My mom found one of her plastic ball toys all broken so we thought she might have swallowed the other half of it. We didn't have the money to taker her in for surgery so we waited a few days to see if she could pass it, but that wasn't happening. She seemed to just be getting worse. So January 25th I get a call from my mom telling me she had to take my cat (Yuffie) into the emergency clinic because she could tell something serious was up because when my mom picked her up to hold her she acted like a wet noodle and her eyes were barely open. She looked like death.
My mom told me that she had an extreme heart problem and that she wouldn't get better. The vet said that she probably wouldn't have made it till the end of the day. When I got home from work my mom, dad, and I took her back to the emergency clinic to put her down. I pretty much cried the whole day. She was my cat. I bought her with my own money, all her toys, her food, her litter box and everything. My first pet that I bought all my own. I loved her so much and she was only 3 years old, very young.
They made a mold of her paw print for me and I just got it in the mail so i thought I'd make a blog.

I do agree dear it does rather feel horrid to see so many around you in love and feeling that raw emotional attachments, and to look at yourself in the mirror and see someone alone and sad.
