Yum. A cup of hot chocolate and a cup of coffee for breakfast... well I guess for lunch considering it's four in the afternoon. My mom got me the fifth season of House on DVD so that's how I am consuming my time right now as I write this blog. I'd say good afternoon so far, yeah?
I don't really have much to update on but I've set two new year's resolutions for myself.
One, I'm going to start keeping a journal type thing but in an agenda book. I was with a group of friends last night just hanging out and my friend JenLee whips out this book and starts writing so I ask what it was for. She told me that she keeps agenda journals and writes down what she does throughout the day or funny quotes/things she just wants to remember. Apparently she's been keeping track of what she does since 2003. She says it's pretty cool because when she's bored or curious she'll find one of her books and wonders what she did on this day and she'll look it up and it will be right there for her. Or it's pretty cool to see the pattern of how you act with certain people (friends/boyfriends) and whatnot. So, I thought it was a pretty cool idea and I'm going to do it.
Two, eat healthier! I know the majority of people set this is a new year's resolution. Eat healthy and exercise everyday, but I need to somehow force myself to do this. I find I get really cranky and mean when I don't run or work out so... that's the plan.
Other than the new rolling in, I went on a date. Me and the guy went to San Francisco to the Exploratorium. I haven't been since I was about eight years old when it was in a completely different location. So they moved it and remodeled, obviously. It wasn't really what we were expecting but it was still fun. Then we moved our way to China town and got some dinner. Overall, good day. Too bad last night I realized I really am not interested in the guy anymore. Meh, but he's really into me apparently. I've kind of died down on talking to him. Two night ago he texted just saying "Hey" and I didn't reply but apparently he talked to my best friend Frank and asked what that meant because I didn't text him for an hour... ugh. I just want to see a guy casually and not have someone get so... possessive? when it's only been a short amount of time while talking them, I don't know. We'll see what happens and how things go..
On another note my ex said something really nice about me, haha.
He facebook IMed my good friend Elizabeth and I guess they started talking about him and his new girlfriend. Elizabeth told him they he can't really blame me for talking to her and trying to get answers about what was going on between them, the break up was really hard for me. He replied to her with "I don't see how, she could have any guy she wants, she so fine." Sweet? haha, It made me smile to see him say that about me. Then she asked him if it felt weird still being friends with me and he told her "It's awkward calling her an ex and still caring about her so much." Aww! haha. I knew he still cared for me a lot but it's really nice hearing him say these things because he's the type of guy that will say rude comments to me and just mess around like that because he doesn't want to show me that he really cares a lot about me because if I did know I would use it to my advantage.... but I do know. =p He just won't admit it to my face! Once my friend logged off of Facebook my ex IMs me and we talk casually like normal but then he brings up "Me and 'Lizzy' were talking about you today, but I'm not allowed to tell you the contents of the conversation =p" so I played along like I didn't know. Anyway... it was sweet of him to say those things and it made me smile.
Now, I must get ready for work!
I hope everyone has been having a good day and enjoys their night.
