Yay, finally something interesting's happened. I live in Essex, in the east of England, on the coast. Every day there's a steady influx of seagulls, sparrows, starlings and other assorted drab birds into my parents' garden. Except for the last few days we've had a new resident flitting in and out.

A freakin' parrot!
It's an Eastern Rosella, most likely an escaped pet. Still, he's been here a week now and no-one's reported him missing. Weirdness.
Also been to see a Russian play, the Seagull, by Anton Checkhov, which rocked. And went to see a Frida Kahlo exhibition at the Tate Modern yesterday, also cool.
