I am having a bizare day. Went into work as normal, only to be told the assistant manager of the home I work for wanted to see me. She told me there were concerns about my work, and that I was being suspended till tuesday.And she refused point-blank to tell me why.
Now, I've never had any problems there. It's a really nice place and I love my job to bits, and I really had no idea what this was about. I've not even had a single sick in the six or seven months I've worked there, and yet when I asked her if my job was on the line she said it depended on what happened at the interview. I guess I should've refused to leave unless she told me why, but I was a bit shell-shocked and left.
When I got back home my dad made a fuss and called them up...eventually he got thru to the manager himself, who said that someone who'd left the week before had given my being bullied as a reason for quittting!
There are people I don't get on with there, but I've noticed anyone bullying me there before. I tend to be very ...quiet at work, but I'venever noticed anyone bullying me. Now I'm being suspended for my own protection until they can find out what's going on.
So I have so idea what's going on now, but that's no different from any other time really. I guess I'll find out what's going on tuesday, till then I have five days holiday to enjoy. S'later!

I asked the assistant manager several times what was going on, but she wouldn't tell me. I'm led to think she didn't even know. I'm not in a union, I'm a careworker in a small home for people with learning disabilities...

I use to be a careworked for people with disablities inside of their own home . the first guy that i ended up working with was an asshole. my boss warned me that he had a temper and that he would sometimes spit at u or try to hit u.
