i love detroit

its run down, beaten down, corrupt, and dirty
and i love it

there is a certain presence it gives off.
and unlike what most people think you wont get stabbed
down any/every dark crevice the city houses

i wouldn't disillusion anyone and tell someone to walk down any street at
night, with thumbs twidling and whistling 'zip diddy doo da' and nevermind
whats going on around you

lets put it this way ..
if you are not paying attention anything can happen
yet again, even if you are paying attention..anything can happen
but really the most important part is knowing whats going on around you.
im sure none of this is novel but they are my thoughts nonetheless.

anyways,

Detroit really is pretty special
and needs to have some bright light shine down upon it
the people make detroit and thats what people seem to never
really keep in mind.
