so i finally went to warped tour
i previously made an effort not to go because of a certain headlining band you may know of..new found glory. i have always and will always hate the nasel sounding punk bands who seem to whine and never mature over the age of 14. anyways, i found the warped tour has done a serious makeover of the bands touring and of the variety.
there were many hardcore bands there who lived up to their reputations and surpassed my own personal expectations. while many of the sets were relatively short they included every little ounce of intensity you would get from an entire show.
due to the need to hog the water fountain in order to not pass out from dehydration (downing a pint of soco didnt help) as well as needing a moments pause to be ready for the next performance i didnt get to see as many performances as i'd liked but oh well..next year right.. as for the ones i did. they were amazing.
Every Time I Die... BEST LIVE PERFORMANCE EVER
As i lay dying..the fans made the show..but the band supplied to energy
Devil wears prada...eh, my friend wanted to see them so i just joined in the chaos
Story of the Year.. again, friend want to see them and i'm no more of a fan after seeing them
and as of right now i cant remember who else i saw haha but im sure at some random point i will .
anyway
point of the post: i am glad bands such as As I Lay Dying and Every Time I Die are finally on tours where they can get more exposure to the general public than say on a headlining tour where only pure fans sign up to see. They are good bands and need the recognition due to them.
