I have struggled for years trying to find Truth. I grew up in a good Christian home with a good Christian family. I have had my ups and downs in the church, but who hasn't? You get the good with the bad, this is the balance of everything. I have nothing but love for church, even though that is not my path.
When I decided to take my first step away from Christianity to begin my quest for Spiritual Knowledge, it was the hardest step I have ever taken. It took me years to take that step. I couldn't pick up a non-Christian book without being physically nauseated. I could hear my mother in my head telling me that was God warning me about evil. But I know the difference between good and evil, I was taught well. The books weren't bad I could feel that but I still had that reaction to them. Then I realized that feeling was fear of the unknown, crippling fear. I had been strongly advised against all secular (non-Christian) paraphernalia, I was feeling a taught fear. I feared those books the way I feared the belt.
So I began looking from a different perspective. I began to ask myself what I believe verses what I do not believe. The first thing smacked me right in the face as I said something I have said and had said about me since I was a child. I am an old soul. I know I am an old soul, so I stopped saying I do not believe in reincarnation. Which lead me to Buddhism.
I quickly realized that Buddhism wasn't for me although I have learned some extremely important things.
The lessons of the Bodhisattva are powerful.
1)You can not take care of others if you can not take care of yourself. You are extremely important, take care of your souls spirit house (your body), so your soul can do what it came here to do. When you fly on an air plane they tell you to put your mask on first then put on others masks. You can not help as many people if you put yours on last, and the people you are helping may be incapable of helping you back!
2) Meditation allows you to calm your mind and take an outside look at your problems. I used this to help myself with my problems. I gave myself advice as if I was giving a friend advice. We ALWAYS judges ourselves harsher than anyone else. For example a spilled cup: Your friend spills it, oh no big deal, accidents happen. You spill it, I am so clumsy and retarded. I can not even hold a cup. What the hell is wrong with me? See the difference?
As I moved away from Buddhism I wondered what is wrong with me. Why do I have problems with the worshiper/worshiped relationship? It doesn't make sense to me. An energetic entity with the power of a deity shouldn't care about things like that.
What makes sense to me is energy. It is a scientific fact that everything is made of energy. I have felt energy for as long as I can remember. You feel energy too. Have you ever walked by someone radiating hostility? Yep, that is their energy you feel. We just turn it off the way we turn off the feel of clothes on our skin. To much to feel.
I took a step back and looked at things from an energetic perspective. I began to see the world a much brighter place as I began to understand how energy flows.
Energy is everywhere, everything. It is neutral until used, then the intention it is used with changes it. Energy is alive, and intelligent. The problems in using energy starts by telling energy how to work verses what to accomplish. When it is sent out the specific instructions may be what is needed NOW. By the time the energy is built, shaped, and sent, it arrives to the scene where things have changed. It does what is asked, but the outcome is not what was intended. Energy wants to be used, it doesn't care how, nothing likes being ignored.
First I had to understand where religions get their energy. I know Christianity so I will use it as a model for how religious energy works, but this goes for any and all.
We are going to start with a close look. Sunday morning service at the perfect church.
1)The service starts with praise, worship, and dancing. This is energy building 101 in any religion.
2)Then comes a service where the congregation are intensely involved. Praise Jesus, Tellem Preach Hands being thrown up and forward. This is energy giving 101 the church members giving freely to the one they trust.
3)Last is alter call. The most beautiful of all. energy channeling 101. The pastor, the head of the chain of command agreed upon by church members, is able to pull in the energy and use it to heal, fill, and seal wounds physical and spiritual.
Now lets back up for a broader view. And look at Christianity (religions) as a whole, all churches, since the beginning of Christianity (religions), in the entire world.
The religious texts have energy because we gave them energy. Every year millions of groups all over the world celebrate Christmas, Easter, and other big holidays. They spend months preparing for plays, concerts, and many other types of festivities. All that energy being put into specific parts of one book year after year after yearA book that many would give their life for.
The second lesson was Energetic Entities. They have many names across many cultures, angels, demons, gods, goddesses, buddhas, fairies, elementals, and the list goes on for miles. They are all energetic entities. We are all energetic entities some of us live in the physical plane and some the energetic. I believe that true enlightenment, Heaven, Nirvana, and those places of higher reaching are achieved when our soul has reincarnated enough and learned how to effect the physical plane from the energetic plane and is able to do more good with an energetic body than a physical one.
The last thing I am going to talk about here is psychic vampires. They are real and they are all around you. We all have energy that gets used through the day. To replenish it you eat, sleep, and relax. Most people have energy drinks over sleep, can not afford to eat or are not eating things that will replenish your natural energy, and who has time to relax? Its like carrying around a phone with enough energy to get a call but not enough to run any apps. When you run out of energy you naturally start to find it in other places, like those around you. It took me a while to realize I was drawing from those around me, as an empath it was natural. I started pulling from all the elements of the Earth, but only a little here and there. Then realized that a lot of my friends were pulling from me, A LOT.
That made me realize I was energetically starving myself. The little nips I was taking here and there were nothing compared to what I would lose in five minutes with one of my psychic vampire friends. I then opened my link to the elements realizing that I have as much chance of draining the Earth of energy as I do of drinking the ocean through a straw.
If you are reading this (after actually reading the rest of this blog) than thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts. I am so happy to have gotten over my fears so I could find my path. I have read many wonderful books that I want to suggest, so I will keep it short (hopefully).
1) The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz - This is a small pocket book. 160 pages. If you read any of the ones I suggest please read this one. It explains the domestication of humans, and how to free yourself from agreements that were forced upon you and that you accidentally accepted.
2)Magical Housekeeping by Tess Whitehurst - This is also a small book. 240 pages. This is guidelines for keeping the energy around you clean. You would not eat off of a dirty dish! Why do you live in dirty energy?
3) The Healing Power of Reiki by Raven Keyes - 288 pages. Reiki is healing energy that wraps the recipient in love as it works. This book is not about practicing Reiki, but about the practice of Reiki. Doctor Oz preformed surgery with Raven Keyes in the operating room, she worked intimately close with the firefighters at Ground Zero during the 9/11 crisis. This is Ravens story she just happens to be a Reiki Practitioner.
