I'm back in school now. I like being in school. I can't believe that I ever left. Honestly. And you know what? I don't care that what I'm studying is "useless." The only really "useful" jobs are like doctor, nurse, teacher, sex-educator, refugee worker, ditch-digger, etc. But definition, most of what we do is useless. And unlike annoying student activists (a truly loathesome part of university) who talk about tolerance and then act like dingbats, I think that the best way to make a difference in the world is to live your life the best way possible, and to pursue what makes you happy. Being in a "work" environment that makes one happy is what genuinely (I think) allows one to give back to other people. So I like being in school. Respect my authority!
