pity about the grainy bits in the backgouund (yeah, you can tell im a photographer cant you 
) and some photo's i felt the focus could of been on the head instead of the body. All in all, really impressive for a first time with a snake. hear they are terrible models

the grainy bits are the terribly dirty table the snake was lying on.. and the snake was very small and my lens was on the max zoom I can go .. I know I need a few more, so that's what you get with a 18-55mm if the snake is about 20cm from the lens. But I'll keep trying, thanx for the tips.
