Yesterday all the snow we've gotten here collapsed the carports at the apartment complex where I live. [See my pics page for more photos.] My car got slightly dented , but isn't too badly damaged, really. Some very nice neighbors helped me get it out before things got worse. (Thanks a million, Brett and Dave! ). We got all the other cars in that carport out too, except for my downstairs neighbor's motorcycle (they were out of town). Then we knocked on some apartment doors and warned people to move their cars. Most of the vehicles got moved in time, but a few people weren't so lucky. Fortunately, as far as I know, nobody was hurt. And it was heartwarming to see how the people in the community came out to help each other.
But I didn't see hide nor hair of the apartment maintenance staff all day.
Hey, what apartments are you in? Looks exactly like my sisters. We went and picked her up on Saturday morning and made her move her car and when we got back Sunday night all but one or two carports in the whole complex had collapsed! It's pretty ridiculous that maintenance wasn't taking care of that shit as soon as it started happening!
See you on friday.
