In contrast to last week, this week was crazy, but pretty good. Rehearsal (Irish band) Monday evening, with pints at the bar afterwards. 
Rehearsal (Middle-Eastern band) Tuesday, wine during. Eileen Ivers concert Wednesday; got to meet her, then went for pints afterwards (Just ourselves, we'd invited Eileen and her band, but they wanted to eat dinner at their hotel first --- imagine that! 
) Rehearsal (Irish) Thursday, but no pints. BBQ Friday, with a little bit of playing in a quasi-rehearsal; Kevin absent because sick (we all having a touch of flu 
this week); a substantial amount of alcoholic joy. Saturday: three sets on the main stage at the Reno Celtic Celebration, in glaring sun and searing heat. Then in the evening, off to play a rocking set for a hoard of buxom, enticingly-clad belly dancers. Then to catch the end of the Fenians' concert downtown. No booze all day --- we're not alcoholics, we just like to drink! One more set at the Celtic Celebration this morning, and one (1) pint of Guinness. Whew!

I really hate the initial dating part of relationships. I like things better when you are past the awkward getting to know each other stage. Hopefully I'll be past that point soon with this new guy.
