Hi fellow scoliosisian! I wore a Milwaukee brace all the way through Jr. High and High School, but my curvature is pretty slight. Looks like you actually had the surgery, huh? That is some serious shit!

Yah. I too wore a brace through High School. Then I was out of it for a few years, but my curvature advanced until it was 51/51 degrees. The surgery reduced it to something like 17/17, I think. It's not too noticible any more. Not really a disability, except that I can't bend or twist most of my back. One of my brothers had the surgery also, then later had his entire back tatooed to hide the scar. I kinda like my scar, so I've left it as is! I'm glad your curvature isn't so bad.
