If it's too big, maybe you're really to small ...
C.R.A.Z.Y week-end my friend in NYC, for work, mostly, but it was also my 24th b-day so I tried to enjoy as much as I could.
I'm exhausted, literally, but, summary of all of this with pointer...
* The NYC Comic-Con is not as crazy as San Diego's one, but still, it's crazy enough to be dead tired and filled with scenes from the twilight zone.
* I bought a digital camera on Canal Street. Big yeah for the discount and big yeah for me actually actually getting a camera, instead of 'wishing' that I took more pictures.
* On that note, I don't have the habbit to actually carry the thing so I don't have a lot of pictures
* My 24th b-day's main event was RENT on Broadway. I was not really into it at first, being my very last Broadway choice of the moment, but all in all, it was alright and I actually enjoyed the evening.
* For the first time since high school, I felt fuckin invisible to a girl I wanted to noticed me. It's been so long ago that I don't even know how to deal with it. I'm half-pissed, half disspointed because I thought I mastered that but being out of my element and all, I was totally helpless. Feeling weak on a trip is not a great thing, especially when it's not 'health related'
* Geez, I spent the week-end wearing a t-shirt outside. That is fuckin AWESOME since I can't take it anymore of the stupid winter.
* I bought a postcard for my mom and sis but actually forgot to mail it from NYC...it's kind of lame to mail a postcard from your home after the trip but hey, it's better late than never.
* If you ever go to NYC, go stay at the Buckingham. It's not just rooms, those a fricking appartements and we stayed in 4 guys and had plenty, but plenty of space with a fridge, a oven and everything we needed to actually cook in the room (we didn't). But we bought a keg of Heineken for the 'after-Con-party'
* Speaking of parties, being a VIP at a Marvel Private party is awesome. Free beers, great crowd, great location...too bad I was way too tired to stretch that past midnight.
* Why does all the rest area are alike on the I-87? But I mean, total carbon caopies of one another. It's way weird.
Ok, more some other time, gotta sleep. Here's the first pictures from my trip...maybe more to come...maybe not, I don't know yet.
Me, looking way too serious at the Commic-Con
