Excuse to Study Favorite Sets..

This seems like a good enough reason as any to start..When you first start shooting sets its quite an overwhelming thing having to think about the various angles you have to shoot from while spotlighting the best attributes of the SG or hopeful you're shooting with..Not to mention, keeping in mind set requirements and making sure to get enough quality shots so when piecing together the final set when editing so it flows nicely in the end..All of this while keeping your cool around a gorgeous naked model and shooting her in a timely fashion..No pressure at all..Prior to SG..I had shot some nude work and mostly things implied or more in the boudoir style for a lingerie designers I had collaborated with, so SG became this exciting challenge to learn how to tell this visual story within certain parameters. I was never one to shy away from homework and this case it was no different, I rolled up my sleeves and started studying so many gorgeous Set of the Days shot by so many talented photographers. Obviously the first person who came to mind was @sean so many memorable sets and setting the precedence how to shoot sets. Seriously timeless and he's had the opportunity to shoot with so many of my favorite SGs..It's so awesome to see and learn how he approached each and every set..

Since becoming a member it's hard not to swoon over much of the work of many of the staffers, @milloux @writeboy @shaine @ayah @gemmaedwardsuk @corwinprescott @cdo @darryldarko so many solid sets and ways to learn how to successfully to shoot sets..

Not to mention all the amazingly talented non staffers who are constantly putting there best foot forward with their sets..I'm constantly amazed by their creativity in their collaborations with such a variety girls and are able to produce sets that are specifically unique to their own photographic styles @lucadenardo @tripodski @zen @adamsaperture lady @smashbase and @jadamsphoto there are many more..these are who come to mind..

Opportunities to Travel..

If you're familiar with my @bloghomework assignments then you know I always seem to find a way to plug my desires to travel. Whether it be because of unhappiness in my personal home life or more so my overwhelming desire to collaborate with as many SG and hopefuls I'm able to, regardless I set the personal goal at the beginning of the year to travel and have painstakingly been able to hold true to that personal challenge..you can revisit some of those excursions starting with the most recent which took me abroad to both Ireland and the UK..My recounts of those trips here..part one , part two , part three as well as stops in Austin,TX , Atlanta,GA and LosAngeles,CA .. Stay tuned as I'm sure once I've caught my breath I'll be heading out once again and have a few spots in mind before the years over..As always..accepting suggestions and invitations..

Shooting with some of my Favorite SGs and Hopefuls..

It's been both a fun and productive summer..I'm currently in the process of editing somewhere in the ballpark of 15 new sets, the majority of which were shot throughout the Summer..I'm still in awe getting the opportunity to shoot with such amazing ladies like @janelane @alcmene @felis @salliss @core and @disco to name a few..I'm really excited to get these processed and submitted..I wouldn't be able to shoot what I shoot and how I shoot if it weren't for the great opportunities I have to shoot/collaborate with such awesome people and have been really excited to discuss ideas with each girl and come up with sets that best showcase their personalities as well as how frickin' gorgeous they are. I'd be crazy if I didn't keep an ongoing wishlist of whom is die to collaborate with..if anyone has any suggestions or would like to shoot together please contact me and we can figure out something..As you know from my previous reason..I do love to travel..

The Amazing Community of SG..

You know since joining SG this has been the absolute best outlet to help me deal with my personal issues with becoming a single father in this world and even contemplate re entering into the dating scene. SG has not at any point crossed my mind as a way to find someone but more as a creative outlet to use as sort of a personal diary to creativity expel my personal feelings about things as well as build some pretty amazing connections in the process. In the early spring I started what seems like an instant friendship with both @lascaux and @milenci no real ulterior motives in mind other then foster these connections and build what I hope are lifetime friendships..I can't forget over the summer have fostered new friendships with @mandeelou @marlene @lucerne and @cartoon I recently realized thanks to a mention of an old high school crush I've been chatting with lately (we'll see if it turns into anything..shh..she's so cute..giggle..we'll see..I'm such a girl at times..haha) that I'm not really one to openly share things about myself..But I've been the complete opposite on SG through these blogposts I've been able to put myself out there in a creative manner while feeling like I get the right sort of feedback..This is all just on the personal side..As mentioned before, I have been able to build nice connections with both the SGs and hopefuls I've shot with but also some of the staffers and other photographers. This has been pretty amazing getting to spend a week with the extremely gorgeous and talented @milloux as well as a pretty tight connection with the super awesome @writeboy who has a new set, Red Hot in MR with one of my most favorite SGs @maud Definitely go check it out, I can't wait to see it on FP..

I cannot forget to mention my new bud @tripodski I'm pretty confident (without jinxing things) he's on his way to becoming staff..it was an awesome experience to get to collaborate with him and coordinate a mini shoot fest while in the UK.. @felis this is my official request to be kept in mind for the 2017 UK shoot fest I'm already missing being out there and need any sort of excuse to get back out there..haha..

Finally..Why Not??

If you're not an SG member yet and have somehow stumbled upon this blogpost..Depending on your personal interests..This is a community so worth the investment and time..what an amazing place to build connections and friendships not to mention an excuse to stare at super gorgeous naked ladies and get to know them as the amazing people they are..I honestly don't know what my life would be like at this point without SG. My ex will never understand it (although very accepting) but no..definitely not her style..I'm so happy to be celebrating one year in this community and especially looking back and seeing what I've been able to accomplish..I really can't wait to see what this second year has in store for me..
