I know..right? Two posts within a week..I'm gonna make an effort to keep this one up on a regular basis..Especially since I'm always shooting, ideas kinda flow on a regular basis..As I prepare to pack for what's turning into a mini SG shoot fest in Atlanta this upcoming weekend and trying to come up with some fresh ideas for sets with all the different hopefuls and SGs..
I came across this amazing artist today at the library and instantly fell in love with the overall aesthetic and tonality in his work and how his paintings of women in solitude lended themselves nicely to the concept of an SG set.
I also almost always have a tendency to rely on compositions from some of my personal favorite painters..Being a painter myself, I've learned a lot from their work have been able to exhibit those growths in my own work..
Pablo Picasso & Balthus
I've been geeking out lately and even through late summer on a variety of animated shows, which led me to a number of Japanese artists..
Adventure Time & Toshio Saeki
Finally..if you guys are still reading..hah..I couldn't help including one of my all time favorite photographers, she has a way of capturing a certain amount of angst and adolescence in her female subjects as well as strength and confidence..all qualities I feel important to keep in mind when shoot an SG set..
If any of these #theme ideas tickle the fancies of #SGs or #hopefuls lemme know if you'd be interested in shooting together..I am ALWAYS down to travel and am looking for the next spot to visit..If anything lemme know what you think, I love chatting and discussing ideas š
