Another week, another twist in the workplace tale!
We received an email today into the public inbox (that EVERYONE has read access to) from the "new guy" that's starting in a few months. And in said email is his proposed pay...

And his "basic" wage is more than double what I earn.
I'm a "senior programmer" (I was introduced as such to a customer, anyway) and get less than half that.

So, needless to say, EVERYONE is rather peeved...

BUT!

Off to a friends on thursday to celebrate Thanksgiving, so hopefully my shitty mood will lift.
