My huge congratulations go out to the new President Elect. Personally I feel he is the right man for the job and will be able to get this country back in the direction it needs to be in.
Now for a mildly amusing story.
A friend of mine works with what we call around here Red Necks. If you don't know what a Red Neck is then don't worry about it. In Florida there's signs everywhere saying "Vote Yes on 2". This is the ammendment to remove rights for gay and lesbian couples. In a nut shell. So as these Red Necks were engaged in conversation about the election the first thing they said was: "I ain't gonna support them Fags! I voted against them. I said ""NO"" to them gay rights. Don't support them queers, vote NO on 2!"
No kidding. It was rather amusing. My friend chose NOT to correct them and instead let them wallow in their stupidity. As they were going around the office encouraging people to vote NO on 2, they had no idea that they were really voting for gay rights.
True story. Not that it mattered much, our state passed the amendment anyway. Conservative retards! At least they gave Obama the electoral votes. I was happy about that since the other doesn't really effect me any. But it does effect some of my friends who aren't very happy about it.
Rambling now, Shutting up.
