I hate people who play <insert horde or alliance depending on your faction>!
I was rather annoyed at someone the other day. They were smarting off in guild chat about how they hate anyone that plays Horde. Naturally it was in my Alliance guild. I can certainly understand his frustration but I couldn't help but to cringe at this. He even went on to say that him and a friend actually beat someone up because they said they play Horde.
Now, the first thing people need to realize is that Game and Reality are ...ready for this? TWO DIFFERENT THINGS! Yes, that's right. I know that is hard for some to take but you don't level up in real life nor do you collect bear gizzards for some moron at the local store to make a stew with. In the same sense you don't go into an online game and expect to file your taxes or check on your 401k.
Second...Most people in game play both factions at some point. So to say you hate someone who plays the opposing faction is to say you hate all players. Then why the fuck would you bother playing if that was the case?
Third...If he was playing horde then he would say the same damn thing about the alliance. HELLO? So let's be honest with ourselves. It's not people that play Alliance have no honor, and it's not people that play horde are dicks. It's PEOPLE who are annoying! Yup...everyone.
If you're not a gamer most of this won't make much sense but think of it like this. Let's say you're going to lunch at McDonald's and your friend says to you "I hate anyone that goes to Burger King, I want to kill them if they don't come to McDonald's!" Stupid huh?
