@lunadivine you can get bone from a butcher. I was planning on getting the antler from a pet store. The brands they carry usually get the antler from dropped horn so you don't have to worry about killing an animal to get some. Then you just get a metal cutting saw and make discs. I bought an engraving tool to do the markings.
