I was really upset with the bikeshop... my bike had to do roadworthy because it changed states... SO they put this crappy new autorelease bikestand on it... its the worng one for the bike so it is on the complete wrong angle and i am worried my poor baby will fall over! that cost $50......

Bike mechanics as a general rule suck. Do most of mystuff myself as a result would rather fuck it up my self than pay someone else too.

Shame your ducati fryed itself. Over reved it!!! Is that not what rev limiters are for. I have a bad habit of waiting for the rev litmiter to cut in then change gear. OOOpps. But never broke anything with over 160000km on my last bike and still going. Maybe its time for you to go jap crap ????

You got the Duke repainted yet ?
I just spray my bikes matt black problem solved. Does dint the resale value you bit though. although any scratchs are simlpy fixed with a quick blast from a spray can.
