my poor baby bike had her battery explode. yeah, i know. All the paint has come off the frame and engine :'( it looks horrible...
who ever heard of exploding motorbike batteries?
anyway we went on a ride with the ulyssies club (whatever it is- the one for oldies) and it was actually not too bad
some of those old dudes ride like 25yos!
anyhoo off to go and scrub the remaining paint off ready for paint job... at least the tank is fine

Had a battery explode on me once. Was late at night in the shed on my own. Went off with a big bang, I crapped myself.
As for riding with the ulyssies. Shame on you at your age. Although it can be fun teasing them.
You got the Duke repainted yet ?
I just spray my bikes matt black problem solved. Does dint the resale value you bit though. although any scratchs are simlpy fixed with a quick blast from a spray can.
