So...stuff going on with me right now....
Heard from my bro. He slept the whole way over to Iraq. He's stationed in the south, away from Bahgdad (did I spell that right, o fuck it). He said the weather's not bad, but the wind and the sand suck, and they're feeding them MRE's, and those kinda suck too...but they get 4 a day, so if one totally sucks, there's 3 more to look forward to. When I get an address, I'll post it. I don't think he'll be getting much mail from anyone, so he'd be thrilled to just get silly cartoons, or newspaper clippings, funny articles, whatever from random people he doesn't know.
Me, I send him porn. What a great sis. I have to hide it though...apparently it's illegal to send over, so I'm gonna cut out the pics and stuff 'em inside Truck magazines and shit.
The 'new meat' is kinda sucking right now too. I get the feeling that he think's he's gotten me, so he doesn't have to try as hard anymore....but, what he doesn't realize is, no one gets me. And I don't put up with bullshit. I've put up with so much bullshit before and gotten nothing in return so now, I say fuck it. That and he forgets that I'm his superior at work (moohahhaha). So when he does shit wrong, he knows about it. I don't want to make it sound like I'm totally counting him out though. (He buys me too much shit for that!
Sike) But for real. My roomate and I were discussing 'the game' that people play in new relationships. And 'the game' might last for a while untill you decide 1. whether you want to play it, and 2. whether or not you're going to give up some of yours to play.
So for now, I sit content, and still not 'exclusive.' So whatever...I have much more to focus on that that...such as....
The burlesque, fire-spinning, performance art, drag queen show I'm going to be working on with a girl I met at the DC SGBurlesque show.
She came up to me when it was all over, and asked me to help her out with a 'party' she's going to be throwing one Friday a month in DC at Club5. It's basically going to be a 'party' interrupted by performances of all kinds. She's got cabaret dancers, asian fan dancers, and bboys. And she wants people walking around handing out candy and shots, and girls with feathers and whips. My part in the whole thing is gonna be the other (probably more than) half of the performances. I'm starting to get a troupe together here with some dancers to do Cabaret/Burlesque (staring, directed and choreographed by moi); a fire spinning troupe (directed and mostly choreographed by moi), and a bunch of drag'sters (directed by moi, starting, not moi). It's gonna be fucking awesome. I've been wanting a good creative project to fall in my lap and this couldn't be fucking better. And all I really need to get is a few more dancers, a good empty space to practice, and maybe a sponsor to help out with costumes (of which I can make with my sewing machine). I've got a good old friend coming down Saturday to practice spinning fire. We used to do it in Blacksburg all the time, but he moved away a couple years ago, and I had no one to practice with. Now, I'm training a girl I work with to join in as well. So there will probably be at least 4 of us, if not 6.
So I'm gonna throw this out to all of you all...if you do any kind of performance that you think is exciting and fun, let me know. I'm sure this is the forum for you, and I'd be glad to put you in. Or if you all know of anyone interested, send them my way. The more the merrier.
Wow, that was a long post. I'm gonna go clean my dishes, do some pilates, and then head to work.
