Street lamps silhouette her in a ghostly light
Her hips they sway under a white moon sky
Her voice resonates, dark eyes on me
Though I speak, I'm silent, of her enthralling beauty
As with nights before, her presence is brief
She lingers faintly, a smell so sweet
She waves goodbye with a playful smile
Leaving me to wonder when again we'll meet
Less bright the stars of the night than her form and her entrancing eyes
Than her lips that breathe so right and her words like a spoken song
Echo in my mind when she is gone
I exhume the past to make her last
For, till I see her again even time can't send
This growing hunger and nagging need….
I cannot rest until she is beside me
Less bright the stars of the night than her form and her entrancing eyes
Than her lips that breathe so right and her words like a spoken song
Echo in my mind when she is gone
She burns her place deep within my dreams
Even in sleep her dark eyes gleam
And when I awake I'm wanting more
