I really like visual arts, specifically animation, comic books, illustration, and street art. There is amazing everyday quality
to those art forms. They are ever-present in TV, street, and magazine racks. During the pandemic, I have had more of a chance to sketch, work in the fundamentals, and use the art supplies I accumulated.
Many of it has been not good, and I have been trying to do more prospective and anatomy studies and get better.
I decided to do some Gorillaz sketches for fun, and I ended up doing sketches of all the band members. I got obsessed for a minute with the Art of Jamie Hewlett, and it drove me to explore it. Also, the Superplastic figures came out, and since I have no money, I am not going to buy them, but I can sure sketch them.

2D, I had a lot of fun with the Superplastic logos in the background.
Murdoc, and Pazuzu
Russel Hobbs, I actually had fun figuring out the drum pedals and how to draw the drum kit without blocking his figure.

I am still trying to get better with markers and building out the figure with better linework and color. So any critiques, tips, and comments are appreciated. Also, I did another sketch from when I was watching Paradise City on Amazon Prime.
Andy Biersack as Johnny Faust
And Finally, Kirby, because You know Smash Bros.
I will try to get better and even post about it here and not just on Instagram.
