So, like, Book of Boba Fett really was not working for me. The pacing was off between the flashbacks and the "present day" stuff (that is still a long time ago in a galaxy far away), the dialogue was really bad, there was stuff that didn't fit the setting at all (the shiny Mods and their shiny Scooty-Puff Juniors look so wrong in the grime of Tattooine), and the action was early Hercules: The Legendary Journeys-level terrible.
Then somehow the show just became The Mandalorian, and is now good. Bryce Dallas Howard, on top of being a stone fox, perhaps surpasses her father's directorial talent, making a scene of Mando walking through a space station with no obvious danger somehow more enthralling than a hoverbike chase through the streets of Mos Espa (added bonus: no upturned fruit carts).
And in the next episode, Dave Filoni gives no fucks about Boba Fett and piles in references to The Clone Wars on top of the Mando love. I fucking yelped in surprise when I saw who came in from the desert to meet the Marshall. Makes me wonder if anyone even cares about poor Boba's practically abandoned plotline anymore. Din's just going to murder the Pykes in ten seconds and type "LOL yw noob" into Boba's helmet display.
So anyway, this has just been a long way of saying that I've been gone a long time and I know there's been some Star Wars cosplay on this site (if there's no Gold Bikini Princess Leia, what are we even doing here?), but I would also like to see some Fennec Shand, Ahsoka Tano, and Sexy Twi'lek Jennifer Beals cosplay on Suicide Girls.
As an aside, since I now live alone, Taylor can't sit cuddled between two people while watching and just slept on his great-grandpa's chair the whole time.
