Yes, I am a gamer nerd.
I tossed out an e-mail with invites to the tabletop RPG that I hope to start next month. The ruleset will be Monte Cook's World of Darkness. The setting will be post-apocalyptic Minneapolis. The characters will be... well, effectively copies of the players that sign up; I'm doing an "avatar" game where players play themselves, but themselves possessed by some strange spirit or obtaining some sort of supernatural powers. Since we all know ourselves at least a little bit, I think it will be a fun time.
So far, only one has come back as interested since monday. Most of my friends these days are getting married and having kids and abandoning the geek pursuits that marked their youth. I might get up to three more players this saturday when I play Call of Cthulhu. I may need a player bailout, SG folks!
