Who is your buddy?
Apparently, I am. Last night I debuted the new Buddy Christ outfit that my recently-retired mother made for me. I should have pictures soon; I spent the entire night doing "the pose" for people with digital cameras. It felt great walking down the street and having people get the Dogma reference. Cute pink hair girl on the train (Anna, I think her name was) even said that she "appreciated" that I went through the effort.
Thankfully the hair emergency taking place after swimming in the afternoon was resolved before I went out.
I also met Dovanna and Otoki at Danielle's art show. I didn't recognize Danielle at first due to platform shoes making her appear not-miniscule (what can I say, I notice short girls more), but Otoki made up for it by being small and elegant. I did have to lecture Dovanna about having Angelina Jolie-sized standards, however. There are plenty of super-hot bi girls right here in the Twin Cities; most of them don't have a fetish for adopting Third World children.

Oh, I totally went to the art institute last week before my parents arrived. They aren't the arty sorta folks. The science museum was pretty fun. It's fun to see my parents act like big kids.
