I bought myself a mountain bike yesterday and went out all day with it. It was fun as hell, and I can't seem to get enough biking in ever since... Now it's time to plan a biking camping trip of some sort...

man, I miss having a mountain bike. I used to work at a bike shop years ago and got a killer deal on a Kona Explosif. It was stolen years later and the insurance replaced it with a current model year ...a $1600 bike!! That was a fun ride, but it got stolen too ...such is life in a neighborhood called felony flats. I really needed the cash instead of fancy bike that time, so I built up a 'cross bike from a Surly frame ...it's an ok bike, but I miss the nimbleness of a mountain bike frame.
