One of the things about living in the dry cold North is that your hands get dry and you go through hand lotion like a Frenchman goes through garlic. I am tired of smelling like a flower and ending up with dry hands anyway. I am wearing white chenille gloves as I type this; I feel silly.
Can anybody recommend me a GOOD therapeutic hand treatment? Right now my fingertips are dry and I go through a ton of lotion to keep them from cracking, but this makes my palms sweaty and greasy. I need something that will work and not make it so that I can't shake hands!
I also read that because they dehydrate you, you must avoid alcohol and caffeine if you have dry hands.
That's not going to happen.

Ok, the $16.00 is misleading. The actual price for this fine futon mattress is two bottles of Yellow Tail Cabernet (It's cheap, about $8.00 a bottle at the 7-11 or liquor store). I really am not interested in money for this mattress.
Here's the deal. The mattress is Red. It has no stains, rips, tears, or anything. It doesn't smell funny. There really isn't anything WRONG with it other than I wanted to replace it with something more comfortable to sit on (this mattress has no springs). It is not new. It's a little lumpy. My impression of it is that it is more comfortable to sleep on than sit on. In any case, there really isn't anything WRONG with it; I just needed something different.
There is a cover that I will throw in for free. The cover is sort of a black nu-leather-ish material. It really doesn't look bad. It has one *little* tear in it that is about an inch long and really isn't noticeable. I know the cover fits on the mattress, because I took the cover off the mattress when I replaced the mattress. It looks kind of like a pain to get back on, so I didn't bother. The cover is in really decent condition, it's just that I really don't have a use for it. I wanted a cloth cover. Yours for the taking.
As I said in the title, the mattress is full size (not queen). If you need a futon mattress and are on a budget (as in: looking for a used futon mattress on Craigslist), this is the mattress for you.
I live on the third floor, you will probably want to bring a friend to help you with it. It's not terribly heavy, just bulky.
In case you are wondering about the wine, I am 37, so don't worry about buying alcohol for a minor. It's really just that I think about $20 is a fair price, and I probably would have just gone to the corner to get 2 bottles of Yellow Tail Cabernet anyway with the money. Consider the $4 a tip for getting the mattress out of my apartment.
