OK folks, we are loquacious this evening, so let's have a big update with pictures! First, I want to give a big thank you and wow for my newest e-friend, LillithVain. She is truly one of the most interesting and refreshing people that I have had the chance to become acquainted with in a long time. She painted this awesome painting:
I saw it on her journal and just had to get it; it is really beautiful! I plan on getting a frame for it and putting it up on the wall in one of the rooms in my house. You can see where it hangs in the picture below. It just is perfect for that room, and everyone who has been in here since I put it up there really thinks it's incredible...I do too
Thanks so much, it's great!
It's the sme room I keep my guitar, my Xbox, and my Playstation in. The guitar is an Epiphone hollowbody. The goal is to play like Brian Setzer. I used to be able to play quite a bit, and I am trying to get back into it.
This is my bedroom with my fabulous sheer drapery around my bed. Looks pretty queer, eh? Not sure if it will stay.
This is my kick-ass office with all my computers for work, and fun. I get to work from home, so I spend a lot of time here:
I got this big 4' tall elephant for my foyer! It's covered with leather, and I think it will bring me good luck throughout the years.
Here are some flowers from my dining room table. I buy flowers for my house because they make me happy. Sort of like buffalo wings, except flowers last longer.
Here is the table, with candles, and flowers, and a lucky bamboo, and you can see my bookshelf with a bunch of books. I have a book weakness. I read a lot, which is hard to do when you are as busy as I am, but I really love it. Lately I can't fet enough history...I don't know what's wrong with me; I just keep buying more books than I could hope to read in years.
This is my pool. It's HUGE!!! Takes up the whole yard. I need to do some work back here to make my back yard more beautiful, an oasis in the city...relaxing
I'm starting with these happy plants. I found most of them here after I moved in in December. I only had one of them when I moved in; my last house was smaller and really didn't have windows to speak of. I plan on getting LOTS of plants.
This is my cat, Valerie. We have been together for 9 years now, I have no idea how old she is because she was a stray, but she is probably about 11 now. Everybody loves Valerie, and she loves them right back.
Nobody here has seen me recently. This picture was from today. Yay for facial hair.
