Yesterday I was about to go out when I found that my cat Max had pissed on my sketch pad. It's the second time he's done that and it pisses me off something fierce. Maybe the smell of pencil lead is similar to the smell of a rival male cat's piss, who knows. Anyway, I bought a new sketch pad and did a couple of drawings to break it in. I shall store said new paid out of the way of where max can piss on it. Bloody difficult to get a good photograph of a pencil drawing. The lead reflects light and the exposure and contrast are tough to sort out, but whatever.
