I completely agree... he was really down, even though he's in his last year of the education program to becoming an elementary school teacher, he felt like he wasn't doing enough. He's kinda old school, so he felt like he needed to be able to 'support' me despite my having plenty of money for the both of us. I think it's that alpha male sense that made the summer kind of shitty for him, he felt like he couldn't help anybody if they needed something.
