Wizard World Texas '08 started out kind of rocky. A mistake resulted in our name not appearing in the WWTX exhibitor list or on the map. We also ended up in a "not-so-great" location on the convention floor. I also ended up running the booth by myself for the first two hours on the first day until Avery was able to join me at her scheduled time two hours after the show started. Then it was just me and her all day!

The second day was much more lively with the arrival of more girls and also more people attending the show. I was sick with a cold Saturday and I felt like crud. Oh, let's not forget how angry my newly stretched ear was. My lymph node (or whatever?) underneath my ear was swollen and hard as a rock. Guh-ross.
Saturday night we entertained ourselves by getting new piercings at Obscurities in Dallas... I didn't anyway, my ear was still so angry. But Zippo and Wit did!
Sunday was more subdued but still lots of fun...!
So now today I am spending the day relaxing on what feels like my first day off in weeks. And tonight is a Buckethead show... exciting!
What a good weekend!
