's been a hell of a weekend

i've got an infected tooth which hurts like 39 different sorts of hell but i've got some spare antibiotics so the swelling is starting to go down...will probably hit the dentist tomorrow...yay.
spent ALL day today on the bike cuz the weather was awesome
but what really made my weekend was: i had previously ran into a college buddy of mine at a tossers show at cbgb a couple weeks ago and it turns out he's got a 2 inch analog tape machine in his recording studio (which we lack in our studio) and we've been dying to transfer some of our old tape stuff to wav data so we can re-use some of the performances of our old drummer who passed away last year. so i get an email from him today with his price for the time on the machine and it's nuts. like...crazy eddie insane...it's so low, we're actually kinda uncomfortable with it and will probably shoot him an extra $100 or a really good bottle of port or something
