ok as most of you know i am in the US Army for the second time in the last 12 years...and almost everyday i get reminded on what it was that made me come back...

as you might have read we got to come out of the field about 4 days earlier than every other platoon...that was good...we had a fairly easy weekend recovering from the field (basically cleaning everything that we had used, vehicles, weapons, tents, etc.) we have a four day weekend this week, i am off friday thru monday, then we work two and half days and we are off again friday thru monday...

this weekend i think that we are going to venture up to Lincoln Nebraska and go to some bars up there and it is also not Kansas...then next weekend we will probably go to KC...

so i am only working about 6 1/2 days in the next two weeks, the military just rocks sometimes...i will also get a lot of time off in Iraq simply due to the fact that it is such a high stress place that they want the soldiers to relax inside the wire as much as possible...

well i hope that all of you have a great weekend and i will hopefully see all of you in november
