Well it has been about a week
So I figured that it was once again time for an update from me I know that you all have been waiting anxiously for just this moment
I know that I was a bit long winded in the last update so I thought that I would limit this one to under 1000 words. This last week was pretty laid back the only thing that I really did was make a trip up to Baghdad on the 1st. We were supposed to stay overnight and enjoy some of the finer things that Disneyland has to offer (that is what we call it) like a pool. But our commander saw no reason for us to stay overnight so we came back the same day. It is not really a long trip persay about 102 KM one way. We also made a stop in Fallujah and had breakfast and picked up some people there to bring to Baghdad. The one good thing from the trip up there was I was able to go to the Big PX and get some magazines and Marlboro Red's as our PX here in Ramadi sucks a bit. We also stopped by probably the largest Hadji Store (that is what we call Iraqi stores that sell dvd, etc.) I have been to yet. I was able to pick up Adobe Photoshop, corel draw, and Macromedia suites for about $15 total. Gotta love pirated software, they work great also and I don't feel a bit guilty. Actually it blows me away that you can by pirated software, DVD's, Cuban Cigars, etc. on most of the US Military bases over here.
That was the extent of most of last week and this weekend. I am back on midshift at one of our IP stations. Spending the night typing emails, playing video games and watching movies. I know that you all wish you could be here doing the same.
I have been online downloading itunes way too much lately. I really have to discipline myself to 2 new albums every two weeks. It is really hard though because I can find some music that I have really missed. I just downloaded 250 minutes of Mozart. I am stickler for classical music it helps me a lot when I am writing. I have also been downloading podcasts of Sean Hannity so that I can stay up to date on what all the crazy liberals are doing in the US.
I still find myself reading the CE Board here on SG and I can't believe how much crap people really believe. This place over here is nothing like the media reports, some things better some things worse. I know that most of you hate when I get on a soapbox so I will step off of it now *steps down* although anytime someone is up for a good debt let me know.
Well that is all that I have from here...
hey go check this site out this is pretty much how I feel
God Bless

Thanks for the b-day wishes. Cali will be a blast. I really need one of those Hadji Stores in my area. If only they could exist here in the U.S.

Hey brother. Just making sure that you're doing well and taking care of yourself. Come home safely.
