Today has been fun! I've begun assembling a PC I'm putting together by request of a friend as a christmas gift. Of course, this means there are computer parts boxes all over the place. It makes me sad, as this PC is in every way better than my own. Ah well. Early in the afternoon it started snowing! I went out for a couple hours to play in the snow and finish up my christmas shopping. Shopping is a lot more fun in the snow. Of course, now that I've returned home, I think I am going to hole myself up in my apartment for the rest of the evening. If any of my friends find themselves out downtown in the cold, you're welcome to drop by. I offer the services of my liquor cabinet to help you warm up. Besides, I wouldnt really mind having company over to keep me entertained.

So the rest of the weekend was pretty good, too. Friday after work I saw "Jesus is Magic" with a friend. That was a very funny movie. God Sarah Silverman does a good job of keeping offensive funny. It's been quite a while since I had that much guilty laughter in an evening. Then yesterday evening was my office christmas party. Quite a few people didnt make it out to it, which was sad, but it was fun socializing with all who did. In fact, after telling one of the doctors about my favourite shot drink, the Dirty Four Horsemen, he agreed to do shots with me! Sadly, the bar at the Portland Golf Club didnt have either jager or rumpleminz. Boo! It almost sounded like he'd be interested in trying one some evening when my friends and I go out drinking, so I'll have to remember to hassle him about that. Other than that, it was just a nice party, with good food and a very nice bar, even if they were missing some staples. At least they had a very nice selection of scotches and whiskeys.
