So i HAD a basal cell tumor on my scalp but as soon as the biopsy confirmed it, i started treating it with vitamin C topically, and increasing my intake of vit c to about 2-3000mg a day. I also take a one-a-day mens multi-vit. I thought i was doing mohs surgery but it was just the initial consult. They just told me the procedure and said i'd need a plastic surgeon to close it since it was larger than normal (its about the size of a quarter).
So the day after the dermatologist saw it, the PS calls me and schedules a consult. He massaged my scalp to see how pliable it was for closure. I went home and continued applying vit C (sodium ascorbate) onto the area and IT FELL OFF! The outside tumor that had blackened and hardened fell off! Now i just have a rash area that i am treating until it returns to normal. I would have had to reschedule anyway because i do physical work the 1st week of july and i would have had sutures in my scalp still. So i'll keep treating it and re-evaluate in august but its looking better and better every day!
Mine was triggered by a previous injury getting re-injured but most are sun-related. Use that sunscreen and know that there are natural remedies for basal cell cancer.
