Okay I'm terrible at updating... really I am... I could apologise for not being a good jounal-keeping kinda guy... but it would be redundant because it will still be an age between my apology and the next actual update!
My excuse this time is that whilst I was in the States I picked up Volumes 1 & 2 of the the Marvel Masterworks hardcover Uncanny X-Men collections (I'd never bought them before because they are quite expensive here in the UK but at the current exchange rate paying the dollar price worked out quite reasonable)... Anyway I got hooked and started looking for further volumes... I quickly discovered that Volume 3 was OOP (that's "out of print" for those familiar with collector lingo!) but got a copy at my local comic shop for slightly more than I had paid for the first two and then got Volumes 4 & 5 off eBay for a great price...
So there you have it - I now have access to The X-Men/The Uncanny X-Men #'s 94-140 + material from Giant-Size X-Men #1, X-Men King-Size Annual #'s 3-4, Phoenix: The Untold Story #1 & Bizarre Adventures #27 (so basically all the major X-Men material from 1975-1980) all wrapped up nicely in five hardcover collections... so I have been busy!
Of course I now want to get the Marvel Masterworks for the original 60's run... but then you may never hear from me again... oh well I'm back off to read about Jean Grey's funeral (even though she isn't really dead... silly X-Men!)...null

I'd also like to see the alternate cut of Mallrats. Kevin talked about it, but he didn't mention anything about including it on the DVD.
Now that I know what to expect of Vulgarthon, I'm looking forward to it as well.
Hmmm... drinking is your vice?? You and I may get to be good friends!!!
XO
Glad to see all is well.
