Anyone got tips on what to do in New York?
I'll be there four days total over a long weekend and so far I have tickets to see Monty Python's Spamalot: The Musical on Broadway on the Sunday and that's my only definite thing so far.
I plan on getting back to Jim Hanley's Universe (an excellent comic shop I've been to once before very fleetingly) and I really want to go to Chinatown - although I may feel self-conscious eating there alone but I don't think I'll be able to resist!
The Staten Island ferry sounds like a good way to get a good shot of the Statue of Liberty without paying for the privilege of queing with the other tourists (and the ferry is free which is a bonus).
I'd like to see where the World Trade Center was but feel bad because apparently there are people cashing in on it now with tacky merchandise
Oh and Central Park is definately getting a good look at this time!
So aside from the above what am I missing what do I absolutely have to do in New York - suggestions welcome!

man i've never been but i would suggest checking out some music if your into it. i have some albums from the 55 bar. don't know where exactly it is cause i've never been but try and see wayne krantz (guitarist) or brad mehldau. he is an amazing piano player. so if you could handle some very good quality jazz/rock................there's my suggestion
