I suppose one of the good things about being unattached is being able to unashamedly be a complete nerd... so I can boast that I got this in the post today...
Aside from the recent updated Christopher Eccleston (and soon to be David Tennant) version I haven't watched Doctor Who since I was a teenager (actually that's not true as I did watch the Paul McGann TV-movie when it came out back in my University days but technically the series-proper ended in '89 so I would have been 13)!
Anyway Jon Pertwee was always my favourite (I was also a huge Worzel Gummidge fan!) and seeing as "The Green Death" DVD also features a spoof mockumentary featuring Mark Gatiss from the League of Gentlemen I picked that one!
So anwyay this weekend I will be re-visiting classic Who for the first time in over 16 years and geeking out... I may even get a Chinese because I've lost another few pounds this week so I think I can treat myself!
