Hello all...just got back from some temporary agencies...I think this will work out for me better for the time being.
I told the lady I only wanted temp assignments...this way, if an assignment is over in 2 weeks to a month or so, I will be able to fly home regularly and visit my folks and my pals. When I get back, I can tell them to find me another assignment! Wow! What a concept! Now I don't have to deal with a permanent job with a boss who won't let me off to go to Texas sometimes.
I still keep searching for a work at home/telecommute once, twice a week job...but no luck. So, if y'all know anyone who is in need of a dedicated technical writer/editor, I'm your gal. I do that for my dad's company on the side through email.
Gotta go take naps.
