Holy shit, what a weekend....
Saturday was mental. Had to get to the venue (a fucking GRAVEYARD!!! Rock 'n' Roll!) for 10am and set up the stage and amps and mics and monitors with the guys. Went on at 12, sang a couple of tracks with the Rock Orchestra, then the students' bands went on, one after the other, and fucking rocked the place. Never been so proud. The kids did sooo well. Highlight of the gig for me was Negative Impulse, with Stuart (12 years old) and Ben (14 years old) on guitars, playing "Bad Horsie" by Steve Vai. That shouldn't be allowed. Those kids are insanely talented. I'll do my best to get some vids up on Youtube from that gig, and some from the last one, too, if anyone's interested. Finished off by playing the Rock Orchestra set again, finished at 4pm. By this point, I was shattered. But, as always, Red Bull got me back on my feet. Hehe.
Then back to Glasgow, met Yaz and went to see 28 Weeks Later after an epic pizza at Frankie and Benny's. Still on the fence about it the movie, definitely wasn't as good as the first one (which I really enjoyed). Some of it was shot beautifully, some made me want to hurl. Just from the movement of the camera, not from the graphic nature of the film! Waaay too much of a gorehound for that. Plus i'm not too sure about the storyline... But hell, if you want some seriously well-shot horror, and oodles of suspense in at least one scene, then go see it.
Then headed to the Cathouse for a few hours with some close personal f(r)iends til 4am. Running on adrenaline and Jager by this point. But that's when the best things happen, right?![wink](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/wink.6a5555b139e7.gif)
Hope everyone's doing well. Life seems good!
