Durham's great in the summer, if a little hot. Fortunately, most everyone has a porch on which to catch some shade and drink some beer. The best things are enjoying the absence of drunk spoiled duke undergrads, and the presence of American Dance Festival folk practicing movement all over 9th street. Oh, and the drag king shows at the Basement aren't too shabby either.
