Thank you to everyone that has been kind and interested in forming a friendship or even an aquaintance based on mutual interests.

Like a bunch of the people up there ^ have already said, we need more people like you to remain here on the site.

I'm sorry to see you go.
lil_tuffy:
no problem. I understand your feeling and for a time had a similar outlook. I came to the realization that I just didn't care that much and I like the site even more now.

I wish yinz the best.

random meanness in my journal for no reason that I know. great way to start a day.

lorelei:
hahaha. why is it okay to leave "random meanness" in a new SG's set, but i can't leave any in your journal? that's funny. see email.

no hard feelings though.
nevetextor:
I hardly see how her comment was in any way mean. I mean, let's face it, the question "Why did you put nude photographs of yourself on the internet" is a fair one. It's not as though it's unrisky - future employers may well not look kindly on it.

On top of that, Daje is not what might be called the "typical" Suicide Girl, making the question even more reasonable. That's not to say she doesn't belong on the site - just that, well, SG certainly has fewer breast implants than other erotic websites.

Don't read into other people's comments so much.

Seeing the Dresden Dolls was beyond amazing. Amanda and Brian are incredible live-I love the cd but I had no idea how good their performance last night would be.

Their cover of "Port of Amsterdam" by Brell was stunning. They performed "Delilah" as well and that song just resonates. It was beautiful. I can't say enough about Brian's vaudeville-esque stage antics and how well Amanda...

Thanks re the work, Dorian. It is an odd mix of anthropology, archaeology & hard labor... the damascus jewlery is something I'll be doing more of since it'll pay better than the blades. Gonna hafta make gold & damascus shackles someday for that special girl. wink So what's the thesis all about? Free will, eh? Good shit.
lorelei:
i'm curious as to why you are a bitch.

I wrote more tonight. My thesis has 62 pages so far. I'm tired but I want to find time for fun.....and other things.

I can't wait to see the Dresden Dolls on Sunday at Laga. The weather will be winterblah but that will not impair anyone from enjoying the most drool/spasm worthy music ever.

People in the dorm are cocooning into couples right now. It's...

Dorian,

Glad to have been perused. Looks like we do have some things in common... good food, Nouveau, things feline and... oh, you like the corsets, eh? wink Your pic is hinting that they might look pretty damn good on you too... Anyway... Yes, I have made some iron jewelry... I really only make damascus steel, which has a pattern in it though. Check my profile and go to my website if you want to see some pics... what are you thinking of?
amadio:
Thanks for the idea Dorian, but I'm looking for someplace that caters to a specific niche.

My mind is tired and my body doesn't like driving for hours and hours. My weekend at home was okay but the feeling I have now upon coming back to campus is less than stellar. I have weeks of work coming up, the kind of work so consistent and demanding that I can't make my own plans or even count on my free will.

I...

Just think about all the fun you'll have in April and May!
Naps will abound.
Free time will be had.
Friendships will be reclaimed.
The sun will shine.
Oh, how I loved last April and May. *sigh*
v0rge:
Hey there, where you going to school? I know the feeling about the commute, i used to commute to Slippery Rock from McKeesport, about an hour and a half drive 4 times a week. That sucked. And I had a girlfriend that went to school in Erie, now that was a fun weekend drive, EVERY WEEKEND!!!

EEEEEEK! My brain is on fire. I just wrote quite a bit for my thesis. I know seven pages in one sitting isn't a lot for some of you. *ahem to those that churn out a chapter in a week and still take 3 days off* It sure helps me because I only anticipate being able to write up to 4-6 pages at a time...

I adore Brian Molko.

Sure, he's a guy....but he used the word bucolic and he's fabulous in general.

I must now swoon or somesuch feminine nonsense.

goals? I'd say to have a nice time and create a more relaxed interview. My main goal is not to be a stuff interviewer.

Working out is good for me. I am soooo weak but getting better. I am up to 25 pounds on the military press(arms and shoulders), 50 pounds on the oblique ab machine, and 60 pounds on the crunch machine. I jogged again today on the treadmill without getting a stitch in my side. eeek

I may not be be buff but refuse to be a weakling!

I'm finally starting my pilates bodyband program...it's very strange to exercise for 45 minutes with a giant rubber band.

I feel lonely. I know it's totally irrational because I spend so much time that I should be spending on work for my Senior Thesis with friends. Tonight I watched Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade with two of my best friends. They are both asleep now and I spent a long while talking about America and stuff with a friend of mine who graduated...
