Thanksgiving is on Thursday and I'm not really ready for it at all, nor what is officially the start of the holiday season. For the last seven years, I've done the majority of my shopping on Black Friday, but I'm not sure if I'm really up to it this year. Perhaps this year I'll do everything but stocking stuffers "online." With every passing year, I dislike more and more people and their sheep-like personalities. How did I become so anti-social?

I can't believe it's the end of 2007 already. Where is the time going?

Nobody likes to deal with all the hoopla on Black Friday. Last year, I tried to hit an early bird sale at 5:00 am, saw the ridiculous lines and said "never again!" I will do my shopping online, or during off peak hours during the week from here on out. I don't like being herded around, and I don't like the overall negativity of the large crowds either. Kudos to you for trying to do something different! Enjoy your holiday! smile

Unfortunately . . as time goes by, the whole thing seems more like an obligation, than something to look forward to.
