My diva cup overfloweth. I hate this time of the month, just for the record.
It was gorgeous weather-wise yesterday. Wore shorts to work, because, well, I can. Probably won't today, though as it won't be quite as warm today as yesterday. I generally like this time of the year, even though my newly acquired allergies start to go batshit crazy. I think it's because the little jew in me just loves the fact that the heat is off, but the a/c doesn't need to be on yet, so gas and electric bills stay low. Yes, beneath this passionate exterior beats the heart of a bean counter.
But speaking of the little jew in me, I was surfing the MLS listings yesterday, looking at moving to a different neighborhood, perhaps over the WV border. My daughter has only a year of school left to go so it's not like I have to stick around in a "good school district," much longer and pay the exorbitant property tax. So anyway, I was browsing, and I came across a neighborhood named "Swastika." I shit you not. Somehow, I think I'll avoid an area that sounds like my kind would be unwelcome there.
Oops. 7:30. Time to get dressed in more than just a towel.
