Here's a bio about myself that I wrote in the wee morning hours.
I emailed in a draft of the bio, then realized I'd included a grammatical error known as a dangling modifier, then rewrote, then emailed the revised bio.
When I get stressed, I make basic grammar errors like that. I'm still obsessing about that mistake.
A left-handed bassist with an undergraduate degree in psychology from Baldwin-Wallace and a certificate in screenwriting from UCLA, Daniel S. Duvall enjoys gonzo experiments in consciousness exploration, tweeting on Twitter, and the company of felines and trusted friends. On the 18th of September in 2002, he sat in as a guest bassist for one tune with Fairport Convention at The Knitting Factory in Los Angeles, California. He wrote a screenplay titled The Offended Ancestor that placed as a semifinalist in the Thirteenth Annual Zoetrope Screenplay Contest. Daniel S. Duvall's short horror stories have appeared in anthologies such as EOM: Equal Opportunity Madness, Blood, Sweat, and Fears: Horror Inspired by the 1970s, and Robbed of Sleep volumes 4 & 5. Between September 1999 and April 2001, Written By magazine published five of his non-fiction articles. He also writes poems. He was born in 1971.
